Snowshoeing
During the summers of 2005, 2006 and 2007 approximately 25 km of snowshoe trail have been developed at Telemark. We now have four trails for people of all abilities. Trail lengths are 2, 4, 8 & 10k. The two shorter trails wind through the forest surrounding the chalet and offer a variety of terrain. The 8 k trail starts from the chalet and ends up at the top of Panorama Ridge offering spectacular views over the Connector highway to the west and Lake Okanagan to the east. Our new 10 k trail follows an old logging road for most of its length and explores a remote area of our property alongside Jack Creek. More snowshoe trails will be added in the coming years. A snowshoe trail map with detailed descriptions of the trails is available at the chalet.Snowshoe trail pass is $5.00/day. Rentals are $5.00/3 hours.
